Heeeeeeeeeeell naw, dawg. Graffiti- in Carrollwood? Here the local, middle class, semi-privileged, suburban hooligans show how hardcore they are by tagging the fence of a local subdivision in Tampa's Carrollwood Village area. It's hardcore on the mean streets of The 'Wood- minivan moms, weekend pool parties, beamers in the student parking lot, pottery barn- dis shit is hardcore.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

My great-grandfather (El Viejo Sanchez) used to own half the oxen in his province of Cuba. This is my shout out to my roots.
Right, I'm back from Puerto Rico! What an awesome vacation. There are plenty PLENTY of photos on my flickr account (I just uploaded them all instead of the little by little update. Here is the link to the collection, organized by set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rene10/col
Cheers!

Here is the glory of my nerd-i-ness. I force my way out of the surf for a wild drive into the Puerto Rican jungle, through insane mountain roads, in search of the world's largest radio telescope!! Fantastic! I've wanted to see this since I first saw the movie "Contact." Click on the pic to the the entire set or click: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rene10/set
Still to come: Old San Juan, Ocean Park, El Yunque rain forest, and the Bacardi Factory!
It's true, we do. I'm no exception. I was driving to the Aserbo Observatory ( home of the largest radio telescope in the world!) and saw this cemetery on the side of the road. I couldn't help but stop to take a few pictures. Check out the entire set by clicking on the photo or by following this link:
